Instructing a Solicitor

Once your offer has been accepted you'll need to notify your solicitor/ conveyencer so that they can start to work on the contract of sale. Hopefully, as part of your preparation before viewing properties, you have already decided on which Solicitor /conveyncer you want to handle your property purchase and agreed a fee for their services.

It's important to keep in regular contact with Solicitor during the purchase process. Not only does this ensure they have all the latest details about your purchase, but it will also mean you are "Front of mind", with your solicitor. They often work for many other people at the same time and you don't want your work to fall behind.
